Homeless, fighting drug addiction and for somewhere to live
My name is Dean and I live in Stroud. I have been a long-time heroin addict. I recently walked from Cheltenham to Stroud to live to get away from the heroin scene that I was involved in when I was living in Cheltenham. I’ve had problems with my ESA, because I gave a “Care Of” address for my application and had trouble keeping up with paperwork because I have no home address, because I’ve been living in a tent since I came to Stroud. I have been clean and off heroin for four weeks. I need to be resident in Stroud for a few more months to be eligible for services.
