Every member of my family has received excellent treatment from the NHS

Every member of my family has received excellent treatment from the NHS, treatment that was delivered by committed professionals whose vocation is in helping people.
Private health care’s overriding priority has to be profit, with people inevitably coming a poor second. The constant undermining of the principles of the NHS - universal health care that is publicly owned - is a result of political decisions taken on behalf of private interests - decisions by a minority for a minority against the majority.
Private health care only provides care where and when it is profitable to do so - how can you trust a private health care provider to offer you the treatment you really need, as opposed to the one that makes them the most money?
How can people with limited income afford health care costs that, in keeping with a constant demand for increasing profit, must inevitably rise continually? Health insurance? Anyone who has ever tried to claim on any kind of insurance will know all about its limitations, cost and the small print.
Keep the NHS PUBLIC!
