West London Mental Health NHS Trust plans to cut its workforce by the equivalent of more than 450 full-time posts - more than 10 percent of total staffing - between 2010 and 2013. More than half will be to clinical posts. The expected breakdown of staffing cuts is:

Medical staffing - 13.7 FTE (full-time equivalent staff); 4.68% of all medical staff
Qualified psychology - 14.1 FTE; 9.38%
Psychotherapy - 4.3 FTE; 8.87%
Family therapists - 1.9 FTE; 13%
Other qualified scientific and professional - 1.6 FTE; 4%
Qualified allied health professionals - 10.7 FTE; 7.08%
Unqualified allied health professionals - 12.5 FTE; 9.41%
Qualified nurses - 109.7 FTE; 7.19%
Unqualified nurses - 67.6 FTE; 8.39%
Admin and clerical - 121.4 FTE; 21.37%
Estates maintenance staff - 8 FTE; 11.68%
Non-clinical support - 52.7 FTE; 12.17%
Senior managers - 36.5 FTE; 22.97%
