Mid Yorkshire Hospitals staff
Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust is reducing staffing levels by 270 posts by removing existing vacancies that it believes will not need to be recruited to under new models of care.
Around 230 current staff will be affected by changes to skill mix, location and posts where, at present, there is no suitable alternative employment.
The Trust runs most of its services from its three main hospital sites - Pinderfields General Hospital in Wakefield, Dewsbury and District Hospital and Pontefract General Infirmary. In addition, day case and outpatient services are provided from Clayton Hospital in Wakefield with some services provided at other facilities and clinics across the district.
