Location: UK » London » SE
Sector: Education

London South Bank University has decided to shut its Language Centre, which ran tutored foreign language courses as well as supporting independent learners of languages.

The Language Centre offered courses in a variety of modern European languages, as well as English for international students - providing an essential resource for foreign students.

The university previously said the centre aimed “to become the model for an inner city university Language Centre that is at the heart of its community”.

Mandarin Chinese courses will continue, funded by the Chinese government, at the university’s Confucius Institute for Traditional Chinese Medicine.
