25% Reduction in funding to externally provided socially excluded accommodatio n based support services. (Excludes MH and LD services )
Saving represents a reduction in funding to socially excluded accommodation based services. Currently 805 units of supported accommodation mixed between 24 hour support and dispersed tenancies.
Savings would be achieved through negotiation with service providers and decommissioning some services.
This option represents a 25% reduction in funding to service providers in addition to an average reduction of 12% in 2010/11 and savings of £0.800m in 2011/12 through the reconfiguration of services.
