Offers the over-50s the chance to enjoy many things such as hairdressing, manicures, computer access and tuition.Local authority funding cut: £7,790. Details: Received £77,930 in 2010/11; cut by £7,790 in 2011/12.The council cut to grant aid, together with an annual deficit of £7,000, means there will be a shortfall of £14,000. Staff salaries/working time will have to be reduced and the centre will have to close on two days a week, possibly Monday and Friday.
