Hammersmith and Fulham community law centre W6
The Hammersmith and Fulham community law centre had 100% of its funding cut in the council’s 2010 voluntary sector funding round.
The council has cut its voluntary sector funding budget by 16% (this figure is probably closer to 20% in real terms, because the council has also decided not to uplift its sector fund for inflation).
The law centre specialised in legal employment advice and and representation, support and advice for immigrants and asylum seekers and advice for people needing benefits. There is now a critical shortage of free legal advice for borough residents.
