Civica gets a £10.8m contract at Lambeth council

Location: UK » London » SW

Systems and process services provider Civica has grasped another key contract with a local authority to provide a managed service for primary and secondary schools in a deal potentially worth £10.8 million.

Civica will transition legacy ICT systems at Lambeth Council towards a managed helpdesk service at each school in the area, supporting approximately 10,000 users in a virtual desktop infrastructure.

This is one to watch as Civica also has a contract to provide “shared services” to three councils, with the sort of “centres of excellence” that have failed spectacularly elsewhere.

Civica is also in healthcare
