Bedford Hospital staff MK42
Bedford Hospital NHS Trust is cutting the size of its workforce by the equivalent of 24 full-time staff between 2010 and 2012.
Staffing levels will actually rise by 16 posts in 2010/11, but will then fall by 40 posts in 2011/12.
The Trust runs a 403-bed acute district general hospital and provides a range of services to over 270,000 people living predominantly in north and mid Bedfordshire.
