Bring Back EMA

The Bring Back EMA Campaign was launched in November 2012 by a coalition of NUS Officers and representatives, student leaders from Further Education Students’ Unions, and student activists from across the country.

The founding statement can be viewed here:  http://www.bringbackema.org.uk/founding-statement.html

The Bring Back EMA Campaign seeks to build a broad and active campaign to put pressure on the government to re-instate the Education Maintenance Allowance, which was shamefully scrapped in 2010 despite enormous opposition from students and the wider public.

We organise action to defend students and demand EMA is brought back without delay.
