Ban Kettling

There is a web campaign (in which you can vote) on the subject of the police tactic of “kettling” citizens who are exercising their right to free speech.
Citizens will protest when they believe that their government has no mandate for some of its policies. This is their democratic right.
The police use of kettling is designed to intimidate, threaten, silence and render impotent these voices of legitimate dissent. Kettling is itself a cause of violence, rather than an attempt to prevent it.
