Video: Robin Hood Tax hits the road
Robin Hood Tax campaigners have set off in their creaky transit van to find out what falling living standards and public spending cuts mean for people all over Britain. The route takes them from London to South Uist in the Outer Hebrides, and they are sending video dispatches along the way.
Here are two of their short films, featuring mothers at a childcare centre in Camden and young users of a community centre in Newham. Both centres face the axe – and these films bring home vividly just what we are losing.
Follow the route and find out more at Robin On The Road.
